Sun, June 23rd Paris to Champagne

Bienvenue, welcome to France!

Transfer to Champagne region

Afternoon walking tour of Reims

Dinner this evening is a private reception, cellar tour and Champagne pairing dinner at the world- famous Ruinart Champagne House or similar

Mon, June 24th CE Lecture and Champagne

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a CE Lecture (2.5 hrs)

The rest of the day is all about Champagne starting with a scenic drive and walking tour of Hautvillers, the village of Dom Pérignon; birthplace of Champagne

Lunch today is a taste of local specialties paired with small grower champagne in a charming bistro

This afternoon we enjoy a cellar tour and champagne tasting at a boutique champage house before discovering the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay

Wed, June 26th Côte de Nuits Passion

Breakfast at the hotel

Today takes us through the heart of Burgundy’s finest Pinot Noir vineyards and villages. Visit Domaine Magnien in Morey Saint Denis. Visit the winery and discovery the bio-dynamic philosophy of the winemaker Frédéric Magnien. You will taste excellent Pinot Noirs from the iconic villages of Gevrey Chambertin, Morey Saint Denis, Chambolle Musigny and Vosne-Romanée.

Lunch followed by a tour of Clos de Vougeot, originally a wine farm, built in the 12th century by monks from the nearby Abbey of Cîteaux. With its medieval vat-house and presses, Cistercian cellar and original kitchens, it forms a unique architectural whole.

Tastings at the Vosne Tasting Club, a private tasting club located in a 16th winemakers house in the iconic village of Vosne- Romanée.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

We make our way south toward Burgundy with a stop enroute in the beautiful region of Chablis.

Transfer to Beaune and hotel check-in

Walking tour of Dijon, one of France's most appealing cities. Filled with elegant medieval and Renaissance buildings that hark back to the city's 14th- and 15th-century heyday as the capital of the Duchy of Burgundy.

Time at leisure to explore Dijon on your own.

This morning, the choice is yours Bike ride thru the vineyards or Barrel making.

Lunch together will be a picnic in the vineyards in the afternoon, we break up into smaller groups for some quintessential Beaune experiences Visit of Hospices de Beaune, a hospital foundation from the Middle Ages and one of France’s most prestigious historic monuments. Its flamboyant Gothic architecture, its polychrome roofs and a renowned vineyard make this museum one of Burgundy’s gems.
